Position Summary:

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to join a leading multinational organization with operations across North America and global markets. This long-term consulting opportunity is ideal for an experienced tax professional with extensive international ASC 740 experience who enjoys partnering with clients, managing complex tax accounting matters, and delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment.

This hybrid position is based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and requires working onsite three days per week.

Essential Duties:

· Manage the corporate tax provision with a focus on international ASC 740.

· Lead tax accounting and compliance activities for assigned client engagements.

· Analyze complex tax issues and recommend practical business solutions.

· Partner with client stakeholders to support tax reporting requirements.

· Review tax provisions, compliance processes, and supporting documentation.

· Provide technical guidance on federal, state, and international tax matters.

· Build trusted client relationships through exceptional communication and service.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.

· Advanced degree in Taxation or related discipline preferred.

· CPA certification or equivalent credential highly preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience.

· Combination of Big Four public accounting and corporate industry experience preferred.

· Extensive experience with international tax accounting and ASC 740 required.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting.

· Experience preparing and reviewing international tax provisions.

· Experience with U.S. federal income tax compliance.

· Knowledge of state income tax compliance and tax provision processes.

· Experience with sales and use tax reporting and compliance.

· Experience managing property tax compliance.

· Understanding of transfer pricing principles and documentation.

· Experience with partnership taxation.

· Experience supporting tax due diligence and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

· Strong tax research and analytical skills.

· Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong project management and organizational skills.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership when needed.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $75 – 110.
