Experience and familiarity with the space domain and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) is required.Responsibilities:Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under studyCoordinating with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectivesWorking as part of a contractor team, alongside a broader team of government and contract staffRequired Qualifications:Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearanceEducation: Bachelor's degree in operations research, mathematics, a basic science field or an engineering discipline10+ years of experienceExperience conducting modeling, simulation and analyses with AFSIMHigh motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environmentAbility to work well as part of a teamStrong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze dataDesired Qualifications:Master's degree in operations research, mathematics, a basic science field, or an engineering disciplineExperience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools utilizing Systems Modeling Language (SysML), e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler or Sparx Enterprise ArchitectExperience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis toolsExperience in DoD space and joint force programsExperience with Python, OptDef, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or JavaExperience with data transformations and data visualizationExperience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databasesExperience with BI ToolsExperience with Excel VBAWork Environment:Location: On siteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours: Standard, 40 hours per week (Full-time)Compensation:For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $155,000 - $165,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Other Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
