Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electricians of all skill levels for a new data center construction project in York, SC

All skill-level electricians are welcome to apply!

PAY: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
HOURS: 8-hour workdays, plus overtime
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6+ months

Electrician Job Description

Electricians will support the construction of a new data center, installing new electrical systems and performing a variety of commercial electrical tasks. Responsibilities include bending and running conduit, pulling wire, making up electrical joints, and assisting with the installation of new electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Bend, run, and install EMT conduit and electrical piping.
• Pull wire and cable through conduit and designated pathways.
• Make up electrical joints and connections.
• Install new electrical systems and associated components in a data center construction environment.
• Wire electrical panels, perform terminations, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Safely operate electrical hand tools and power tools.
• Follow project specifications, electrical codes, and jobsite safety procedures.

Qualifications for an Electrician

• 3+ years of electrical experience in a commercial construction setting preferred.
• Experience bending, running, and installing EMT conduit.
• Experience pulling wire, making up joints, and installing electrical systems.
• Ability to perform electrical terminations and troubleshooting.
• Ability to safely use electrical hand tools and power tools.
• Must be able to perform physical job duties, including standing, crouching, twisting the upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must have standard electrical hand tools.
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite.
